WATCH THE LONDON MARATHON AND ENJOY A SPORTY DAY OUT

The London Marathon is one of the biggest sporting event of the calendar and the perfect opportunity to visit the best of the citys famous landmarks.

Runners start in the Greenwich area, home to a royal park as well as the national maritime museum and the legendard Cutty sark. Greenwich is a relatively peaceful part of London great of eating, drinking and wandering the market.

During their 26 mile journey runners cross the iconic Tower bridge, visitors can enjoy fantastic views from the walkway at the top of the bridge. Nearby are other famous London attractions including Tower of London, st Paul's Cathedral and HMS Belfast.
